I am Janne Perttula and I live in Tampere, Finland. This website is about my music that I create under the name "Heroin and Your Veins". I started doing this in 2006.


The debut album:

Solina Records released my debut album "Dead People's Trails" on August 15th 2007. It is distributed by Playground Music Finland. Information about ordering etc. can be found in the music section.


The second album:

My second album will be released in spring 2009 by Verdura Records.


The music:

I think what I've tried to do is the sound of nights spent mostly alone, the ceiling, street lights, balconies and mental unstability. My music is instrumental, because I'm not sure if I want to tell anyone anything and I can't really sing. I'm influenced by so many things it would be silly to list them all, but there is something in the links section. It is incorrect to say this is a solo project. Projects have goals and I don't really have one except releasing the music I've made. I don't know if there is a right word for this, but it is not my concern to come up with one.

You can listen to some of my music with the mp3 player above. There are five pieces from Dead People's Trails and two pieces that are released only in internet. I am also in Myspace, Last.FM and Mikseri where you can download my music.


Live:

I have a live band that includes Timo Korpi on drums, Kari Nieminen on bass and Irene Stachon on keyboards. Our first live shows were in August 2007.
